Jackpot round - everybody pays £1.50 per person and this goes towards a jackpot - can reach £1000 as it is rolled over each week if nobody gets 17 or more correct. A great quiz, the other teams are good fun, good banter and a nice pub. Great for a laugh and some great music gets played.. Warning though - get there early as it tends to get very busy and some teams reserve their table. | |

The evening always finishes with the Landlord's Round, when the team who come closest to answering that question win a round for their whole team. | Steventon | The BIG Quiz: it is big, but it's not clever! Our weekly Monday night quiz has been running since April 2004 and continues to attract a large following. It's a fun-packed two and a half hours of general knowledge trivia every Monday night, with spot prizes for the winners of each of the four rounds - TV & Film, Pot Luck, Sport and Music. At the end of the night there's a "Play Your Cards Right" competition to determine which teams will compete in the pontoon play-off for the cash jackpot. Teams of any size can enter, and it costs just £1 per person to play, all entry fees going towards the cash jackpot at the end of the night. The emphasis is on fun, so the jackpot isn't just available to particularly clever teams but to every team that enters. But why the "BIG" quiz? Well, our prizes are big.
