The quiz costs 50p per person and all proceeds go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The winning team get 8 free drinks. There is also a cash pot where I give three clues and they have to get the year, the cash pot cost 20p and the winner gets the money we collect all answers go into a hat and one ticket is picked out and if they are right they win if not it's a roll over. | Scarborough | Firstly it is only 50p per person to enter. The quiz consists of 5 rounds, 8 questions per round. The first round is general knowledge. The second is a music round, normally name the song and the artist. Music varies from 1955 to 2005 and tries to cater for all tastes. The third round is a mystery or themed round. We take a break, the music is played again and chips or roasties are served free to each time. The fourth round is identify the pictures and the final round is a second general knowledge round. Questions are very varied. Top prize are drink tokens, the number depending on the contestants. After the quiz has finished, a quiz sheet is select for the chance to win the jackpot prize. A typical jackpot question. What year was carbon paper invented, to within 10 years either side. Its a fine pub, very friendly and the beer is good. | |

Also a prize for the best team name. A cash snowball is 50p per ticket if your ticket is chosen and you answer the question correctly you walk away with the pot (record winnings so far was £350!)
