Main quiz is 50 questions incl 10 pictures. Winners win 8 beer tokens. There is also a Jackpot quiz for money which goes up by £10/wk if not won. Jackpot is normally 5/6 harder questions! Crown and Thistle is a proper old fashioned no nonsense wet sales pub and whilst the aethestics arent the best, the pub is second to none in Carlisle! | |

| Whitehaven | The quiz consists of 4 categories; topical trivia, entertainment, food and drink and one other which changes weekly. There is also a nine letter word question and a £10 challenge question at the end. There are 2 other answer sheets which include a picture quiz, identify the 10 pictures, and a blockbuster sheet of 10 questions. There is a minimum weekly jackpot of £50 which increases by £5 each week it isn't won. The team with 50 points or more wins the jackpot. It costs £1 per person to enter. | |

| Ulverston | A fun quiz: everyone is welcome. Teams of up to 4 people, £2 per team. 50 general knowledge questions. £5 for the winning team, the rest of the money is added to the snowball: 5 harder questions - get all 5 right to win. The Cattle Market takes part in the Ulverston LVA quiz league between October and April, the quiz sometimes starts a little late then, especially if the quiz team is playing away: however it never starts any later than 10 pm.
